• The Schmetz Stretch Twin Needle features two Stretch Needles connected to a flat shank via a bar, for simultaneous sewing of two parallel seams.
• The stretch needles have a medium ball point, smaller eye, and a deep scarf. The unique design of the scarf and eye prevents skipped stitches and the ball point tip helps to prevent thread damage and holes.

The top part of a sewing machine needle – the part that is inserted into the sewing machine’s needle bar – is known as the shank. Household sewing machine needles by SCHMETZ have a flat shank, which makes sure that the needle is always in the right position and cannot be inserted incorrectly.
