• The Schmetz Combi Special Large Pack includes: 4 x Universal Needles: 70(10), 80(12) x2 and 90(14); 1 x Leather Needle: 90(14); 2 x Jersey needles: 70(10) x2 and 80(12); and 1 x Microte x Needle: 60(8).
• The universal needle is great for all purpose use, the leather needle for leather and other similar fabrics, the jersey needle for jersey fabrics and Microtex needle for delicate fabrics.

The top part of a sewing machine needle – the part that is inserted into the sewing machine’s needle bar – is known as the shank. Household sewing machine needles by SCHMETZ have a flat shank, which makes sure that the needle is always in the right position and cannot be inserted incorrectly. The butt of a SCHMETZ needle is also beveled, making the needle easier to insert into the needle bar.
